Chimamanda Adichie: People Like Me in Literature

"Wonderful personal narrative from novelist Adichie about the real and dire consequences of only allowing one voice to represent thousands, and makes a very beautiful argument on how the single story impoverishes our lives." via Racialicious

  1. This was a wonderful speech! One thing I'm grateful for is that our son went to high school in a university town, so he had classmates from all the world and he discovered that they had a lot in common. He had good friends from Rwanda, Korea, Ireland, Bangladesh, and Turkey just to name a few.
