His main message is hard to deny as a path to success - put a priority on education while downplaying the role of race. Politicians, media and citizens in the US tend to focus too much on the type of blood flowing through our veins rather than what our actions are or should be. As for the issue of bilingual education, I'd love to see the US become a multi-lingual country over time - but that means English speakers learning Spanish as well as Spanish speakers learning English.John - CALA Academynoreply@blogger.com
