Z told me, "It's really good book on the origins or the FDA and the politics of the food pyramid and how our food is controlled politically. It also discusses the major food corporations, what people used to die of..."

Another good one to read is Water, Culture, and Power: Local Struggles In A Global Context by John Donahue and Barbara Johnston and Water Wars: Privatization, Pollution, and Profit by Vandana Shiva, and Blue Gold: The Fight to Stop the Corporate Theft of the World's Water by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke.
