I spotted these first list about dreams and 10 More Amazing Facts About Dreams and wanted to share them since I am constantly thinking about the subject.

I dream often - I have to be physically exhausted to have a dreamless night. My dreams can be weird, like dreams were I am doing mundane things like taking the bus upstate (have no idea why) or talking with coworkers. Then there are the weirder mundane dreams were I am searching, no more like racking Google for something for hours, then there are the surreal weird dreams were roller coaster-like trains stop on bridges over an ocean... you get the drift.
I usually remember my dreams right after I wake up and then again as I go back to sleep the next night. Sometimes I have tried to fall back into a pleasant dream but it never works - the dream always goes awry somehow. I've always been fascinated by people who say they don't dream or don't recall their dreams or lores of boogie men and dying in your dreams ala A Nightmare on Elm Street.
I've also always been fascinated by the mysticism and different beliefs held in interpreting dreams. When I was little I remember the dime books my tias had where you could look up the topic of your dream, say a piece of gold, and the book would tell you what number to play that day.
I do believe that dreams are the leftover remnants of our lives that our brain is still digesting. However, I've always found the continuity of certain beliefs across time and space to be really interesting, like that dreaming of teeth falling out means death across many cultures.
What do you dream about? Do you recall your dreams, are they vivid?

We sound a lot alike! I dream all the time and my dreams are crazy. I remember them for a little while and then forget them. I wish I could figure out what they mean.
